Vimy... 100 years later

The freedom of Canada started 100 years ago this month.
The Battle of Vimy Ridge was celebrated with Coffee, Desert and a presentation at the Legion in Slave Lake.
Beth MacDonald, the President of the Legion says the aftermaths of battles and war are honoured, but people who were there, are suffering.
The Battle of Vimy Ridge is regarded as the beginning of the end of World War 1.
In that battle, 3,600 Canadians lost their lives, while 7,000 more were wounded.
